i know it's a bit early but today i brought out one of my favourite dvds.
it's called the yule log.
i bought it off ebay for £5 a couple of years ago and it works for me on two levels.
firstly you can play it as shown here... a close up of a log fire and the audio is the crackles from a log fire. perfect to warm up whitfield towers.
secondly you can play it with a wider video view, which shows the log fire in the background and a christmas tree, christmas presents, stockings, cards, etc all around it.
you can play this version with the sound of a choir singing christmas carols...
or with christmas carols and crackles... it's all good.
this is the one i have:
it has a book with it too... i think it's the words to the carols but i've never looked.
surely all homes need one of these ?
