4.33 ( cage against the machine )

yesterday i had a very strange shoot indeed.
i was the official photographer at dean street studios for the
re-recording of john cage's 4.33
it's a charity single which will be released on 13-12-10 with the hope
of becoming the xmas no.1.

just incase you don't know, 4.33 is 4 minutes 33 seconds of recorded silence.
yesterday in the studio a number of artists came along to record their version
of 4 minutes 33 seconds of silence. some even phoned in their silent contributions.

i'm not allowed to show any pics from the shoot for a week but i would like to say
a special thank-you to mr hudson for taking the time to chat and also to pose.
i'll post the photos in a week, but in the meantime here's a photo of a flat-white
i grabbed at the milk bar just before the shoot.
which lasted me for less than 4 minutes 33 seconds

check out the buzz about cage against the machine

and if you care enough to help the charities concerned, why not buy
4.33 for xmas ?
just imagine it, the xmas number one being 4.33 of complete silence...

( well... it will sound better than the x-factor single )

  2. I like that you've put the track as backing music to this post.
