fuji x100

on friday i picked up a new camera. a fuji x100.

i've been chasing after this camera for a while. i thought i'd pick one up in new york
but stocks hadn't reached the usa when i was there. in the uk too, stocks were
delayed due to the tragedies that hit japan last month.

i put my name on a waiting list at robert white and on friday received a call
that the first 6 had arrived in the country and that they would post it out to me
over the week-end.

as luck would have it, i was driving from london to devon, so i swerved over to
robert white and picked up my camera in person about 2 hours later.

i guess technically i was the first person in the country to own one.

here it is...
pretty sweet eh ?

very nice styling
it will make a very good every day camera. it's smaller than the gf-1
and has a decent 35mm f2 lens.

thanks to jack at robert white for fixing me up with this bad boy.
