until i nipped them in the bud when i started training for my 10k
i was getting heavily involved with lamingtons.
have you ever heard of them ? tried them ?
they are just the thing for accompanying a flat white
( in the absence of lemon drizzle cake or victoria sponge )
sadly i believe they are from australia, or new zealand ( same thing )
although when i googled it, the name lamington comes from lord lamington
or somebody like that.
so at least they're named after an englishman.
